Located at the heart of the city at Ma. Cristina St., Capitol Site, Cebu City, one doesn’t need to go far to enjoy goat meat (kanding) dishes.

Mang Bert’s Kandingan is owned by a group of friends who are food lovers and goat meat being one of what they enjoy a lot.

Aside from their specialties which are kanding cooked in different ways: kalderetang kanding, fried kanding, kilawin na kanding, sizzling kanding, and ulo sa kanding, theyalso serve Filipino food like kalderetang baka, pochero, manok Bisaya, baby back ribs, sinuglaw and many more.

Goat meat or mutton is preferred by many because it is delicious, lean and healthy.

The kanding dishes in Mang Bert are must-tries because of their unique take on this specialty.

According to Chef Aries Medalla Sy, he can recommend the sizzling kanding, as they are the only one serving this, and ulo sa kanding, which is perfectly grilled and then cooked kaldereta-style.

One can enjoy these dishes any time of the day as the restaurant is open 24 hours a day, every day.
