Styled with Liz Uy

-A A +A

FASHION editor and stylist Liz Uy recently launched her much-awaited book StyLIZed: Liz Uy’s Ten Style Essentials. The useful volume, small enough to fit in a hand bag, is about making the most of items that are already in every woman’s closet.

It’s a practical guide that encourages mixing and matching, instead of buying a lot of new things to create the “perfect” wardrobe. Liz highly recommends dressing to flatter your body type, advice that her celebrity clients love her for but is useful for everyone.

With advice about everything from different types of shirt collars to extending the life of a pair of jeans, it’s possible to become your own stylist and dress for your body, for all occasions. And, as Liz says, never forget to inject “a heavy dose of your own personality.”

Over 500 style-savvy Cebuanas attended the book launch at The Gallery in Ayala Center Cebu’s expansion area. No one minded the long queue as Liz took her time chatting with every person who came up, all smiles with every signature and photo – a gracious meet and greet instead of just a book launch and signing. StyLIZed is available at National Bookstore and Fully Booked. JVC
