THIS Wednesday, GMA Network’s lifestyle program Powerhouse revisits the People’s Mansion, the official residence of Star for All Seasons and Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto.

The interior of the People’s Mansion changes with each administration. With Governor Vi’s term, the old fountain was turned into a venue for consultations on People’s Day.

The actress-turned-public servant also has a private room, but there are rumors that it is haunted by a ghost.

Aside from the mansion, the Batangas governor also invites Powerhouse in her mobile office, a bus she uses to do some field work and visit her constituents in the different municipalities of the province.

The Star for All Seasons first appeared in the film Trudis Liit when she was nine years old. But she admits that despite her success, there is one thing she regrets: “The biggest regret of my life is that I wasn’t able to finish my education, but I was able to graduate kahit high school.”

Don’t miss her interview with Powerhouse host Kara David, in which the actress-politician also reveals that she and rival Nora Aunor were the first actors who received P1 million as talent fee. The program follows Saksi on GMA 7. (PR)
