HIGH street brand Zara has released its current collection for this season, with pieces ranging from classic to trendy, as the brand is known and loved for not being restricted to only one style.

The men’s and women’s collections have tropical prints in a more subdued palette than is commonly associated with the print, along with minimalist separates in white, cream and denim. For boys and girls, there are no cartoons or gaudy prints here, but a mix of pastels and neutrals in styles that could translate to the older market, such as military-inspired jackets, digital prints and nautical stripes.

Zara’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection is available at the brand’s first store in Cebu, which just opened at the Ayala expansion on March 14 and boasts of 2,113 square meters of retail space. The new store shows the latest brand image based on its four principles: beauty, clarity, functionality and sustainability.

The store’s design primarily emphasizes simplicity to facilitate direct contact with customers, making shopping simple. New concepts of materials and colour combination lighten up the new interior, distilling the brand’s latest image, and highlighting the importance of customer’s direct contact with products in an interference-free and beautiful environment. Zara is owned by Inditex Group, one of the largest fashion retailers in the world.

In the Philippines, Zara is exclusively distributed by International Specialty Concepts Inc., a subsidiary of Stores Specialists Inc. (PR)
