The promotion, which started on the airline’s actual birthday on Feb. 21, includes discounts of up to 80 per cent, depending on the route. Leslie Thng, SilkAir chief executive said, “Over the past 25 years, SilkAir has grown steadily, while remaining true to our commitment to connecting travellers to Asia’s newest frontiers and ensuring a pleasant travel experience for our customers. We have consistently expanded our network, especially to unique and exotic destinations in the region, and now serve 45 destinations in 12 countries. Our success is largely due to the continued support of our loyal customers and as we celebrate this momentous occasion, we’re excited to be able to thank and reward them through an offer that gives them more reason to travel and explore our dynamic region.”

The 25th anniversary promotional offers are valid on fares purchased through the SilkAir website or via SilkAir appointed travel agents. Ongoing until Mar. 17, travel period is between Feb. 24 and Oct. 31, 2014.
