RCMN holds career guidance program

IN LINE with its initiative to assist the youth in choosing their career, the Rotary Club of Mandaue North (RCMN) with Richelle Rubi as its president, launched the RCMN career guidance program at the Zapatera Night High School.

Christine Fidellaga and Aurora N. Suarez, educators of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda), discussed about the Tesda programs and how the students can avail themselves of Tesda scholarships. Lawyers Lourdes U. Barcenas and Jose Ma. Gastardo talked on the legal profession; Dr. Romero Villar on the medical profession; Nestor Archival and Fidel Magno on business; and Peter Go on sales of real estate.

Josen Martinez talked about working in business process outsourcing, while the role of a police officer in the community was tackled by police officer Paul Vaughn Sumiller.


The facilitators for each classroom were Rubi, lawyer Democrito Barcenas and Ned Lora.
