What to wear this weekend

-A A +A

THIS entire weekend is going to be a very busy one, party-wise. There’s an electronic music festival today, a big rock concert tomorrow and street parties on Sinulog Sunday.

What’s a good outfit to wear? You want to look cute and stylish, but still be comfortable and have a great time, not keep fussing with clothes. Here’s an outfit inspiration for the parties you may be going to.

• The airy tank top and shorts combo is probably the most comfortable combination for those parties. To avoid looking like everyone else, choose a top with special details and printed or bright shorts.

• Look sexy, not skanky. Don’t forget to wear something under that crocheted, lace or sheer top. A cute bra that offers decent coverage, a bustier or even a bikini top works for a party vibe.

• Heavy jewelry might literally weigh down your ears or neck if there’s a lot of walking or dancing involved, so opt for lightweight earrings or a necklace. But pile on the bangles!

• Pick closed shoes or detailed sandals that stay securely on your feet. You might lose a shoe while walking among the crowds. Don’t forget that comfort is key.
