“GOOD FOOD, good price, and smiling tummies,” is what Bucket Shrimp is all about.

The new restaurant has been opened for just a month and the word has been spread good and wide.

Chad Regner, the brains behind this restaurant, got his inspiration from similar restaurant concept in the US where he was based for more than 20 years. Instead of serving in plastic bags like in the US, he decided to use buckets. All the food in the restaurant is served in a bucket even rice.

His bucket of shrimps weighs around one pound with a choice of Cajun or gata flavor.

Each has its own distinct taste that Regner made himself. Cajun is the bestseller flavor and is spicy and aromatic. Gata is more of a Filipino flavor that everyone grew up with.

Bucket Shrimps only has five dishes on its menu: the boiled shrimp, soft-shell Thai shrimp, chicken wings, liempo loco, and crazy pusit. Regner adds that a short menu makes the decision making easier for customers. He also included his own concoction of drinks on the menu like the Calma and Caleche.

Dining gets casual and fun in Bucket Shrimps where customers wear paper bibs and eat by hand.

“We’re taking it one happy customer at a time,” he said.

Bucket Shrimps also offers a drive-by ordering method. Customers can text their order ahead of time and just drive-by the restaurant to get their orders and pay. The restaurant is open from Tuesdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 to 11 p.m. Find Bucket Shrimps in Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/bucket.shrimp. (ADO)
