Global Football Club visits Autowelt BMW Showroom

GLOBAL Football Club, the private football club owned and managed by Philippines Men’s National Football team manager, Dan Stephen Palami, visited the Autowelt BMW Showroom in Nivel Hills Lahug Cebu City last Monday, May 6, 2013.

The players who represented the Global FC were Ange Marios Tresor Guisso, Moussa Sanogo, Ben Starosta, Nino Ocohotorena, and Valentine Kama.

They were joined by the Philippines Men’s National Football players, or known as the Philippine Azkals, Edouard Sacapano, Carli de Murga, Jason de Jong, and Juan Luis Guirado.


The Global FC players were welcomed by Autowelt BMW Cebu executive vice president Michael Goho, and sales and marketing manager Ludwig O Federigan. All players mingled with all Autowelt BMW administration, sales, marketing and service personnel.

Before the Global FC players proceeded to KIA Gorordo Showroom for their “Meet the Press” sponsored by the Gateway Motors Group, Autowelt BMW Cebu presented to each player a collector’s model of BMW Vision EfficientDynamics car as its token of gratitude while the former presented an autographed football to Goho.

The Global FC is the first club from the Philippines to compete in the AFC President’s Cup together with Yeedzin FC of Bhutan, KRL FC of Pakistan, and two-time titlists Dordoi FC of Kyrgyzstan that will be held in Cebu City Sports Complex on May 8, 10, and 12.
