Apple’s website (www.apple.com) lists its trademarks and service marks. Some of these trademarks may be used in reference to the products that they cover that they may become generic. Thus, the Apple website suggests a generic word for each trademark in order to prevent the said trademark from becoming generic. We may not even realize that these are registered trademarks:

Trademark Generic Term
AirPort wireless hardware/software solution
iMessage software feature
Bonjour networking technology
Boot Camp application technology
Chicago & Charcoal computer fonts
Cocoa software technology
EarPods headphones
Flyover software feature
Keychain operating system feature
Logic application program
