PILIPINAS Shell Petroleum Corp. (Pilipinas Shell) announced over the weekend its partnership with Television Culture Shock Productions to produce the second season of TEN, a travel program that features "breathtaking sights and thrilling activities" that are yet to be discovered by many Filipinos.

Stephanie Cua, marketing manager for Retail at Pilipinas Shell, told reporters TEN plans to air 10 exciting feature drives across the country to give viewers a look at how vehicle performance is enhanced when fueled by the Shell V-Power Nitro+ fuels.

She said Visayas is one of those that will be explored. In a teaser clip, TEN host Jason Godfrey visited the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) and danced with the dancing inmates. The second season of TEN will air on AXN this September.

The show aims to rediscover diverse cultures and exceptional environments that characterize the unique landscapes and geography of the Philippines.

The company said that through its premium performance fuels Shell V-Power Nitro+, they are on a mission to "uncover the different turns, terrains, and tracks that characterize the interesting sights and journeys only the Philippines can offer."

Pilipinas Shell Fuels brand manager Vanessa Ejercito said they picked travel as a marketing campaign of Shell's premium fuel line because it has a formula that can give motorists an "exciting drive."

Shell V-Power Nitro+ fuels are designed to restore and maintain engine power through active engine cleaning and instant-acting friction modifiers. The premium line consists of three fuel products: V-Power Nitro+ Gasoline (replacing Super Premium), V-Power Nitro+ Racing (replacing V-Power), and V-Power Nitro+ Diesel (replacing V-Power Diesel).

Since the fuel's launching last year, Cua said they have been getting positive customer feedback.

The company mounted a Shell V-Power Nitro+ #FuelExcitement exhibit at Ayala Center Cebu's Activity Center over the weekend. The exhibit showcased the product features of Shell V-Power Nitro+ fuels as well as some of the latest vehicle and motorcycle models that run best with Shell's premium performance fuels. KOC

Shell has an estimated 200 stations in the Visayas. In the outskirts of Metro Cebu, the fuel giant has around 30 to 40 stations. Cua said they recently opened a station in Minglanilla, Cebu.

This year, Cua said the company will be opening more company and dealer-owned stations. She, however, declined, to disclose figures.
