Nominations open for Grand Chamber Awards

THE Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is now accepting nominations for this
year’s Grand Chamber Awards Night to be held on June 28, 2014.

The Grand Chamber Awards caps the Cebu Business Month celebration and honors outstanding Cebuano entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exemplary performance in the fields of business, manufacturing, innovation and technology.

Awards will be given to the Entrepreneur of the Year, Small Business Entrepreneur, Countryside Entrepreneur, Young Entrepreneur and CSR Institution.


These awards will be handed out in a program starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu City.

Nominees must be owners/managers of publicly-listed or private companies who are primarily responsible for the past and recent performance of the company. He or she must be an active member of top management for a company that has been in operation for at least five years.

Anyone who is associated with a successful entrepreneur can nominate a candidate. Nevertheless, self-nominations are encouraged.

The Board of Judges for this year’s Grand Chamber Awards is composed of Department of Trade and Industry Regional Director Asteria Caberte as the chair, CCCI Past President Dr. Edward Gaisano as the vice chairman, and members of the board include past presidents Francis Monera, Jose Ng, Geronimo Sta. Ana, Consul Samuel Chioson, Atty. Raul Del Mar, Atty. Anastacio Muntuerto, Jr. and Dept. of Tourism Regional Director Rowena Montecillo.
