CEBU Pacific Air is the official airline partner of the Cebu Business Month 2014.

The month-long project of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (CCCI) will be held in June of 2014.

The 18th Cebu Business Month carries the theme, “Asean 2015 and beyond,” and will feature events that are designed to strengthen the capabilities of Cebu-based businesses. It aims to strengthen Cebu’s position so that it can take advantage of the opportunities to be opened when the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) implements economic integration in December 2015.

“Cebu Pacific fully supports the Cebu Business Month 2014, as part of our continuous commitment to developing Cebu as an even bigger tourism and trade hub. We believe that the more available routes to Cebu, the more opportunities for Cebu businesses,” said Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog.

Cebi Pacific operates direct flights from Cebu to 22 domestic and four international destinations. It also operates 110 weekly flights between the Philippines to Asean countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei and Cambodia.

The Cebu Business Month 2014 will include: a jobs fair; information and communication technology and business process management conference and expo; start-up weekend; entrepreneurship seminars; franchise expo and seminars; business-academe forum; tourism and investment promotion; fun run; golf tournament; creative industries’ forum; and the Visayan Pop Music Festival.

The month-long activity will culminate with the Grand Chamber Awards. (PR)
