LIFE’S challenge or stimulating, demanding task is a reality in our lives.

Failing to achieve targets and goals, committing mistakes, losing a job, and the most tragic, losing loved ones, are unpleasant events which we cannot avoid in our life’s challenge.

Knowing that pleasant and unpleasant events are parts of our lives leads us to realize that we must face and embrace them because it is only in doing so that difficulty becomes a positive event.

It is no longer just a “pain point” in our lives, but the core of a hard-rock foundation that allows us to grow and be the lifelong learners that we all should be in our life’s challenge.

Unfortunately, our “human nature” has not equipped us to carry the burdens brought about by difficulty all at once.

In managing difficulty effectively, the key is to take in the difficult situation as it comes, not allowing it to build up to the point where it will overwhelm us.

It is our ability to immediately acknowledge difficulty when it arises that will make it easier for us to handle it.

We can’t expect life to be easy. There are no shortcuts, no quick and easy way.

It takes effort to achieve success or anything we consider worthy in our lives.

Anything that has worth and value requires that we work smarter not harder.

This means that a person views each difficulty as an opportunity to discover what she/he is made of.

The difficulty becomes a test of a person’s character and a way to develop skills he/she never thought of.

As a result, he/she grows and becomes wiser and stronger than before.

Perhaps, it is crucial we view life’s challenge in a positive light that either a person is rich or poor, intelligent or average, gorgeous or plain, loved or not loved, in order to avoid the “victim syndrome,” thus, move ahead no matter what the difficulty is.

Instead of letting life’s challenge weigh us down, let it be the battle cry that gets us pumped up.

The playing field isn’t level; we deal with different cards, and we need to work with what’s given to us.

Please examine what life’s challenge is given to you.

As for me, I need to be inspired, encouraged, comforted and consoled myself.

Thereon, I can inspire, encourage, comfort and console others especially through my lifestyle write-up on the 2nd and 4thWednesday every month for three years now.

And of course, I’m a management consultant in office, career, politics, marriage and family on contract basis.

How do I maintain these positive moods which I consider as both smart and hard to do?

If there is something I want to do and it is lawful, I go ahead as simple as I have my music/ movie personal selections and I have privacy in my home so I can unwind everyday.

I celebrate every Sunday the holiest day of the week with my loved ones like everyone else.

For 25 years now, I study, learn and believe in the Bible by applying its principles.

Our life’s challenge or stimulating, demanding task is difficult but it is no longer the stumbling block that stops us from getting where we want to go, but instead the stepping stone to help us get ahead correctly.
