Succeed at any age-A A +A

SINCE everybody is in a back-to-school mood, this is an excellent time to remind us to update our goal and get motivated again.
But it is essential to get organized, ask help from our family or friends or maybe you want to do it alone. But foremost, we stay healthy.
A better approach to update your goal is to consider your new abilities.
First of all, ask yourself, what is another or additional way to earn a living for me?
Do I enjoy service-related tasks or being helpful to others now? Or am I now good at mechanics? Numbers? Finances? Fixing things? Which occupations is a good match for my abilities now?
Brainstorm several options rather than focusing only on your “dream” job. And think practically.
Will the field I want to pursue be available in other locations, in case I should move?
Will the training that is required put me in unreasonable debt? Once you know which occupation you would like to pursue again, look at the market for that type of work locally. Do you know any potential employers?
To be motivated at any endeavor, you need to consider that your thinking ability has already helped you solve your own problems many times instead of always having to rely on others to bail you out.
Also, mixing with a variety of people everyday and everywhere gives you plenty of opportunity to master such qualities as long-suffering and self-control along with tolerance, respect and empathy – traits that have served you well.
Another thing, you have learned the value of having a strong work ethic which have helped you to get a job and keep it.
And you are aware that the more you learn about the world around you, the better equipped you are to know who you are and what you believe.
Armed with such conviction, you are able to stand up for your beliefs respectfully.
Establish a schedule and writing things down also help us get organized. For instance, we can set our priorities, thus, meet our deadlines.
A helpful tip: write your to-do list in a small notebook (I do this) or store it on your cell phone or other electronic device.
It is better to do things as soon as possible in a neat and orderly manner so that you can find things more easily.
Getting organized again like before will save you the stress of forgetting things, running late and never seem to have enough time for other priorities.
Perhaps, a trusted family friend can help you. The fact is, success in most endeavors is a team effort, not a solo performance.
Foremost, adequate sleep, balanced nutrition and moderate exercise keep us healthy.
Success is for everyone. Blaming age for failure shows you are insecure, lazy, indifferent and lacking in initiative.
When you desire health, happiness and prosperity and actively go after them – regardless of age – you will attain them.
Your better years are now but best years can be ahead!
