BE IT for beauty or business, Beautiful Horizons Inc. (BHI) is one unique store for both consumers and businessmen. The store launched last March and had its blessing last April 27, 2014 at Capistrano, Cagayan de Oro City.

BHI is a Filipino-owned business and 70% of its products are manufactured by the International Pharmaceuticals Inc. (IPI). IPI is the company behind Omega Pain Killer, Casino Rubbing Alcohol, Dr. Wong’s Sulfur Soap, and many more, and BHI is considered their sister company.

BHI is a direct-selling business, with a member-customer policy. With its Filipino-made products, the company gives a 27 percent discount to their member customers, the highest discount package in the Philippines.

This is the very reason why Ren Mijares joined and buys at BHI. “The products are good and just like the commercialized ones. But the price is way below than those,” she said.

Mijares carefully looked at the details and ingredients of BHI products. She said a seller like her should know what she is selling especially when it comes to cosmetics and beauty products.

Basically, affordability and quality of its products are the main edge of the company. It sells beauty products, household products, health and wellness items, fragrances, and baby products -- a variety that is not typically found in other direct-selling businesses.

BHI – CDO currently has 800 members and most of the customers describe themselves as happy customers.

BHI has a P250 registration fee with kit and products and other incentives that the members could acquire in their stay with the company.

Some of them will receive bonuses and bigger discounts depending on how many they purchase.

Most of the BHI home care products are detergents, dishwashing liquid, softener, among others – things that most of the consumers need.

Krizza Baluyot, a housewife, said these are the things she needs. “I can sell, since these products are what everyone needs, at the same time I am just at home.”

BHI has its main office in Cebu.
