LONDON -- Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie revealed Tuesday that she has undergone more preventive surgery, having her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed in hopes of reducing her risk of cancer.

Writing in The New York Times, the filmmaker and philanthropist said a recent blood test showed a possible early sign of cancer. The news was a blow to the star who had already had a double mastectomy.

MILF wants SAF survivor investigated

THE Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) said Police Officer 2 Raymond Lalan should be investigated for the death of four "unarmed" Moro rebels inside a mosque in the village of Tukanalipao in Mamasapano, Maguindanao.

Lalan, a member of the Special Action Force who survived the bloody Mamasapano encounter, violated the International Humanitarian Law when he killed the four Moro combatants while they were sleeping inside the makeshift mosque last January 25, according to the 35-page investigation report of the MILF on the bloodbath.

Revilla seeks court permission to attend daughter’s graduation
