MANILA - A video of a man who can imitate different voices, from fictional characters to some known personalities, has gone viral after it was uploaded in July on video-sharing website, YouTube.
Tricia Lim uploaded the video of Edrian Clemente on July 14 citing Clemente's exceptional talent in emulating different voices.
Surprisingly, many viewers were entertained with the man's performance.
Clemente emulated some of the prominent personalities like media men Marc Logan and Gus Abelgas, radio disc jockey Papa Jack, and the late Filipino comedian Pablito "Babalu" Sarmiento Jr.
Clemente, a broadcast communication student at Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), also imitated some of the cartoon characters in Doraemon and Spongebob Squarepants.
"You're amazing, idol. Very talented. I'm sure that you will reach your aspirations in life (because of your talent)," a social media user said on the posted video.
A post said that Clemente's talent was "impressive" because he was able to copy the voice of the known characters.
Many comments were requesting Clemente to produce more videos of him while imitating others' voices.
Though many were amused on Clemente's talent, some said that the video was "fake" and "dubbed" only, believing that it was not he who was really speaking. However, Clemente still thanked all the viewers who watched his video.
"Thanks, friends! It (his video) was more than 250,000 views," Clemente said.
In response to the viewers' request to make another video, he uploaded a video on his Facebook account as his way to acknowledge viewers' warmth support to him.
The video, with a duration of two minutes and 52 seconds, already had 256, 824 views on YouTube, as of posting. (Sunnex)
