Magnitude 4.2 quake hits Catanduanes

A 4.2-MAGNITUDE earthquake jolted the province of Catanduanes at 4:07 a.m. Sunday.
In its bulletin, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the epicenter of the earthquake was located at 93 kilometers (km) northwest of Pandan, Catanduanes.
The tremor, which was tectonic in origin, has a depth of 53 km.
Phivolcs said there are no expected damages and aftershocks. (Sunnex)
