CEBU CITY -- New York Times bestselling authors Veronica Rossi, Tahereh Mafi and Ransom Riggs were in Cebu City, Philippines, on Sunday for a book signing event with their Cebuano fans.

As early as 10 a.m., fans of Mafi's Shatter Me series, Rossi's Under the Never Sky trilogy, and Riggs' Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children were already at The Gallery of Ayala Center Cebu to register for the book signing session.

Chad Dee, marketing manager of the National Book Store, said the goal is to give another kind of book experience to the readers. "We also want to encourage our readers to read more by bringing their favorite authors closer to them," Dee added.

Mafi, Rossi ang Riggs also held a book signing at the Glorietta Activity Center in Manila last April 26. (Sunnex)
