MANILA -- Fair weather will continue in most parts of the country due to northeast monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas, the state weather bureau said on Tuesday.

However, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather forecaster Connie Dadivas advised the public to bring umbrella as Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas will have isolated light rains while Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

She added that we should expect warmer days ahead with the transition period as the wind from the northeast monsoon continues to weaken.

Metro Manila temperature will be range 21-32 degrees Celsius for Tuesday.

She said that the minimum temperature recorded in Metro Manila was at 20.7 degrees Celsius around 6 a.m. on Monday while the maximum recorded at 32 degrees Celsius around 3 p.m.

Dadivas also said that the easterlies was blocked due to the tropical storm in Pacific Ocean towards Japan.

She further noted that no tropical cyclone is expected to affect the country in the next two to three days.

However, she said they still expect one cyclone to enter the country before the month ends.

In its advisory, Pagasa said that moderate to occasionally strong winds from the northeast will prevail over the eastern section of Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
