THE state weather bureau said cloudy skies with light or isolated rains will prevail over most parts of the country on Thursday as the northeast monsoon continues to affect Luzon and Visayas.

In its 5 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the regions of Cagayan Valley, Bicol, Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Quezon and Aurora will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains.

It added that Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Meanwhile, Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Pagasa said moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail throughout the country, adding that the coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

In its weekly outlook, the weather bureau said no tropical cyclone is expected to enter the Philippines in the next four days. (Sunnex)
