MANILA – Host-comedian Vhong Navarro was discharged from the hospital in Quezon City on Thursday, weeks after he was attacked by six men at a posh condominium unit at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.
Navarro, accompanied by his lawyers, left St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City past 12 p.m. and immediately proceeded to the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Manila to formalize his complaint against his attackers.
He was escorted by personnel of the Quezon City Police District.
The comedian filed of serious physical injuries, grave threats, grave coercion, unlawful arrest, blackmail and serious illegal detention, which is a non-bailable offense, against businessman Cedric Lee, model Deniece Millinette Cornejo and six others.
Cornejo, for her part, filed rape complaint against Navarro.
