TEMPERATURE in Baguio City has dropped even further to 11.0 degrees Celsius -- the lowest temperature felt this year in the city.

According to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) in Baguio, this further drop in temperature is due to the cold front and the northeast monsoon (Hanging Amihan).

The city may experience temperatures within 11.0 to 23 degrees Celsius today, Pagasa said.

Pagasa assured that tourists in the city of pines will enjoy their stay especially with the opening of the Panagbenga Flower Festival 2013 next month.

Meanwhile, the locality will experience cloudy skies throughout the day and light drizzles especially at noon.

The state weather bureau advised residents and tourists alike to bring thick sweaters and mufflers in the various tourist destinations in Baguio and Benguet to avoid getting sick due to the cold climate. (Sunnex with wire reports)
