ONE month ago, in ONE Fighting Championship: Era of Champions held in Jakarta, Indonesia, Team Lakay's Geje Eustaquio fought his best in winning against Kentaro Watanabe from Japan.

The judges agreed unanimously that Geje won the three-round match. It was a good striking match between the two, but Eustaquio got the nods of the judges impressing them and got Eustaquio's hand raised.

On that same night, the main event was between Adriano Moraes and Kosuke Suzuki. The fighter from Brazil won that match via submission in the third round.

They both earned a shot for the vacant ONE FC Flyweight World Title and has been anticipated to face each other for the belt.

Now, it was finally officially announced by ONE Fighting Championship that Geje "Gravity" Eustaquio and Brazil's Adriano Moraes are indeed fighting for the inaugural ONE FC Flyweight Title. The 20th series of the ONE FC event dubbed as Rise of Kingdom will be held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The CEO of ONE Fighting Championship, Mr. Victor Cui, stated that "ONE FC is the largest sports media property in Asian history, bringing world-class mixed martial arts action all over Asia, including Cambodia."

ONE FC: Rise of Kingdom will feature battle for the inaugural ONE FC Flyweight World Championship between Geje Estaquio and Adriano Moraes.

"This is highly anticipated bout pits two of the best flyweights in the world against each other and promises a night of intense action and heart-thumping excitement! ONE FC: Rise of Kingdom will feature a fight card that fans in Cambodia and the millions of fans watching around the world would not want to miss!"

It will be the third MMA world title to be held by Team Lakay should Geje win this fight. The first was when Crisanto "The Slugger" Pitpitunge took the PXC bantamweight belt from Justin Cruz in July 2012 and the second was when Honorio "The Rock" Banario took the inaugural ONE FC featherweight title and became the first Filipino to hold a world title in the best MMA Promotion in Asia.

This will be Geje Eustaquio's best moment and he has been waiting for it. Holding a championship belt is one, if not the greatest, of the dreams of an MMA fighter.

While fighting in the field of Wushu Sanshou, the 25-year-old Eustaquio had started his Mixed Martial Arts career in the year 2011 in the URCC Baguio: Invasion and won against Rex Wa-o. Since then, he now has a record of 5 wins, 2 losses and 0 draws.

He won his fight against Rogelio Plomeda in PXC 26 and lost against David Cho in a split decision in PXC 28. He also defeated Rabin Catalan in a triangle-choke submission in the main event of Team Lakay Wushu- Xanda MMA and Elimination 6.

He had a 3-1 record under the ONE FC Promotion. He was defeated by Andrew Leone in ONE FC 9 at the Mall of Asia last May 31, 2013. Having won his fights against Brazil’s Alex Silva, a Brazilian who is BJJ world champion; Eugene Toquero; and Kentaro Watanabe, Geje Eustaquio, who is from Itogon, Benguet, is so ready to fight for that belt.

Meantime, in the continuance of developing the ground games of our athletes here in the north, Team Lakay will be having its 19th Team Lakay Grappler's Cup on July 27, 2014 at 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Benguet State University Closed Gymnasium at Km.6, La Trinidad, Benguet.
