DRINKING water, whether what certain time it was taken, has always given huge health benefits.
Just recently, a fad in social media is spreading like wildfire when to best drink water at a certain time has accordingly had a positive effect which some of the health buffs have included in their daily routine.
Another water fad taking the nutrition and wellness world by storm is a new approach on how we see and give importance to water as an essential part of our daily lives.
According to physiology experts, approximately 60% of water is contained by the human body and water plays a big role in the health and wellness of each individual.
Hydration is one of the most important role of water critical in maintaining good health and cellular level in the body as one can live for a week or two without food but one only lasts for days suffering without water.
Mixtures and recipes are being posted with every fruit ingredient claiming to have its own role in the blend, although experts have yet to confirm the true benefit of drinking water with infusion.
Many medical personalities explains the main essential of this new phenomena is a new approach to hydration, you could not go wrong with water and fruit as long as it’s clean, it’s good!
But never mistake the infusion to be the same as eating the fruit and extracting the juice. Fiber benefit is not one of them that is the reason why infusion needs at least overnight to induce the vitamins and minerals of the fruit diluted in water.
Water will always be number the best hydration for athletes during training and competition but due to commercialization, energy drinks and sodas are taking the place of water as the main source of hydration
Water infusion is trying to bring back the interest on drinking water as primary source of hydration during workouts or even during a tough contest.
As one athlete exclaims “many people are doing it and it looks fun, comparing what is in your water today, it becomes a daily social topic and a sort of bonding moment for us as and when one discovers a new recipe which has health benefit and fun, how could you deprive yourself of that?”
A survey also indicates an increasing switch of drink preference from soft drinks to mixing their own infusion, even drinking water producers claim that sales have gone better since coming out of water infusion.
Ongoing research may further intensify the water infusion phenomenon and if it will make its mark I believe that we are into the verge of healthier water drinking habits. This could be the solution to athletes never ending quest to sustaining their training with an augmentation of vitamins and minerals needed for their lifestyle.
