THREE Team Lakay fighters are once again set to bring honor to the country gunning for separate wins in two separate mix martial arts promotions accross the globe.

Roldan Sangcha-an arrived in New Zealand Tuesday for his UFC debut squaring off against Richie Vaculik on June 28 at the Vector Arena in Auckland.

The undefeated Sangcha-an is the heavy underdog with four bouts not going the distance where he won a submission in his last fight in the Pacific Xtreme Combat while Vaculik boasts of a 9-2 win loss record where six of his victories came via submission.

“Although Roldan is definitely the underdog, this fight will not be an easy one because we know our opponent’s game of taking him to the ground early but we are prepared for it,” said coach Mark Sangiao who accompanied Sangcha-an.

Former bantamweight champion Cirsanto Pitpitunge and Troy Bantiag with Eduard Folayang also flew to Guam Monday for the PXC 44 eventJune 27 featuring the welterweight championship between Zebaztian Kadestam and Josh Calvo.

Folayang will serve as cornerman for both Pitpitunge and Bantiag and remains optimistic of the two fighters’ chances.

“Maganda yung condition nila ngayon so I hope maganda din ang ipakita nila sa laban,” said Folayang.

Pitpitunge (5-3) hopes to arrest a two-fight skid after losing the promotions bantamweight strap he took from Justin Cruz in 2012 when he squares off against Josh Duenas (4-4), who is fresh from his submission win over Jordan Manglona at Trench Warz 17: Night of Champions in December.

Bantiag is also looking to end his two-fight losing skid when he faces former PXC bantamweight title contender Kyle Aguon.

The Guamanian is coming off a unanimous decision defeat at the hands of Japanese undefeated prospect Michinori Tanaka, who just won his UFC debut last weekend in Canada with a convincing unanimous decision victory.
