Duathlon slated June 8

BIKING and running enthusiasts test their speed and endurance as Premium Health Provider Int’l Inc. hosts a Back to School Duathlon and 5K foot race slated June 8th at the Burnham Park Lake Drive.

The 25-kilometer bike race will pass through Kisad Road, Military Cut-off, South Drive, Outlook Drive, Pacdal Road and back to Burnham will be the highlight of the duathlon with a 5-kilometer run.

Top three finishers in the male and female divisions will be awarded in the road bike and mountain bike category with a registration fee of P600.


Mountain bike category will be divided by age groups namely 15 years old and below, 16-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 years and above.
Champions in each category will receive trophy and gift packs while runner-ups will receive medals and gift packs.

A separate side event of 5K for adults and 3K for kiddies run will also gather interested foot racers as the top three male and female finishers will receive medals trophies and cash prizes with registration fee of P450 for both races.

All registration fees are inclusive of race shirts and race bibs.
Registration sites will at the Outdoor Kinetix in Jose Abad Santos in front of Children’s Park in Burnham, Ritchies located at Magsaysay Avenue c/o Celia Young, and Tupa Airsoft Shop in T. Alonzo St., Baguio City.
