Hassan Stars off to good start in BBFL

HASSAN Stars cruised to an early two victories to start their bid in the weekly Baguio - Benguet Football League organized by Cordillera Goshen Land Football Club.

Hassan earlier scored a lopsided victory against Jeddah City, 4-1, then escaped BSU Alumni FC, 4-3 for a hot start in the men's division of the tournament with four divisions.

The tournament started March 22 and will end April 13 conceptualized to help gear up the Palarong Pambansa bound Cordillera football elementary and high school squad including the futsal high school girls team.


Team Palaro, the high school squad who will represent the region in the summer games toughened up against Baguio United Football Club Knights, 3-2 while the Tenth Power team blanked BSU Alumni who lost via default, 2-0.

Jeddha and BUFC later on clashed and finished the game at 2 all.

In the youth football League, Quezon Elementary School gained headway after repulsing crystal Cave Elementary School, 1 - 0, then blanked Dona Aurora Elementary School, 3-0.

Bonifacio Elementary school also scored a victory by disposing CGFC, 1-0.

Baguio Central school battled Dona Aurora to a 1-1 finish then had another draw with Bonifacio.

The 14 under division and the Ladies Futsal are expected to see action this weekend in different venues in the city.
