THE Summer Capital’s top amateur parbusters are set to challenge their skills in the short but tricky fairways of the Baguio Country Club as this year’s Flower Tee Open Golf Tournament tees off February 15.
Close to 200 golfers are expected to suit up in the Molave point format of play in the tournament as part of the city’s 19th year celebration of the annual Baguio Flower Festival.
Three classifications will be played in the men’s division divided into three classes, A, B, and C in the 18-hole, par 61 and 4,038 yards Country Club territory.
The ladies division will have two classes, while a guest division, with no handicap, together with the senior and the junior’s golf division will also see action in the one-day tournament to tee off at 6 a.m. to 12 noon.
Registration for the golf tournament is at P1,000 for members, while the senior’s and junior golfers is at P800. The guest division will be charged P2,000 per golfer as mulligans will wage P200 for their ticket.
All registration fees are inclusive of green fee, giveaways, food during the awards and a chance to win raffle prizes.
