KNOW the essence of what true service is and you will realize how meaningful life is.
For Day By Day Christian Ministries Baguio giving true service is what matters most. This was emphasized in the 23rd year anniversary celebration of the church last Sunday at Governor Pack Road.
"Kusang loob na paglilingkod ang gawin. Habang gingawa ngumiti ka," Pastor Gammy Alba said in his inspiring message during the mass for the anniversary celebration.
He said everyone should give a true service to the Almighty, oneself, one's fellowmen, and the country as a whole.
DBD Baguio anniversary celebration also signifies a stronger commitment for a more active role in providing service to the community by spreading the words of the Supreme and extending hand to the needy.
The celebration also highlighted the important role of the youth in advocating the Christian principles through an evangelical concert that featured the DBD musicians who played beautiful sound expressing true emotions that touched the hearts and minds of the church members and visitors.
The youth performers include Patricia Sayana, Micah, Raymark Casuga, CJ Las Marias, Ester Mostrales and Aiken Ramos who made his own interpretation on the song "Note to God" popularized by Jojo and revived by Charice Pempengco.
DBD anniversary celebration was lead by Pastor Caloy dela Cruz and Pastor Dennis Ke with the support of committee heads Mila Velasco and Helen Mendoza.
We have all have a role to play in this world. Our role becomes significant if we know the value of what true service is. This involves prayerful reflection and acknowledgment on the existence and power of the Architect of the universe.
