ANGELES CITY -- Social action officers of Barangay Balibago found Sabel (not her real name) intoxicated and unconscious in front of a sari-sari store last week.

The girl, 14, a high-school student in a community college in nearby Mabalacat City, revealed to barangay leaders that she ran away from his foster family.

According to her, Lolo Pepe (her 76-year old foster father) repeatedly raped her numerous times.

Sabel narrated to Balibago Chairman Rodelio "Tony" Mamac and other barangay officials her ordeal in the hands of Lolo Pepe.

The girl said she had to tell Lola Beth about it but her foster mother just ignored and even scolded her.

She disclosed that her last sexual encounter with the old man was on Monday, few days after she was found and rescued.

Mamac said Sabel stayed for a few days at the barangay hall under the care of social action officers.

She will be turned over to a foundation handling sexually-abused and street children on Tuesday, said Mamac.

"Apat na araw nang hindi natutulog at kumakain yung bata kaya kinupkop muna namin bago i-turn over sa foundation," Mamac said.

When Mamac asked the girl if she wants Lolo Pepe arrested and incarcerated, she replied "ayaw ko po."

Mamac said they are contemplating on filing charges against Lolo Pepe and his wife for abusing the girl.

The couple adopted Sabel when she was still three years old.
