Cordillera police open doors for new cops-A A +A

CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet -- The Police Regional Office (PNP) Cordillera is now accepting interested applicants for 2013 Police Officer 1 (PO1) regular and attrition recruitment program for the region.
PNP applicants can submit their application folders starting June 14 to June 28 while successful applicants will take their oath on September 30.
Interested applicants who want to join the PNP and who possess all the necessary general qualification standards can submit the needed documentary requirements for screening.
The general qualification standard are as follows: must possess a formal baccalaureate degree from a recognized learning institution; must have an eligibility; must not have been dishonorably discharged from military employment or dropped from rolls from the PNP service or dismissed for a cause from any civilian position in the government; must have no pending criminal case in any court; must not been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude; must be at least one meter and 62 centimeters in height for male and one meter and 57 centimeters for female; must weigh not more or less than five kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his height, age, and sex; and must not be less than 21 years of age nor more than 30 years of age.
Applicants must submit the following documentary requirements: CSC Form 212; birth certificate; report of rating of eligibility; two pieces 2x2 ID picture with white background indicating applicants name; transcript of records and diploma; clearances from barangay, local police station, RTC/MTC, and NBI; medical certificate issued by the local government health officer; copy of two valid IDs with pictures, signature and address; and certificate of good moral character issued by the university last attended by the applicant. All photocopied documents should be certified as true copy.

The processing, screening, and selection of the best qualified applicant for appointment as PO1 will strictly adhere to the provisions of Napolcom Circular 2007-009 as amended by the Napolcom Resolution 2011-004.
