POP Princess Sarah Geronimo finally admitted that she is in a relationship with Cebuano actor, Matteo Guidicelli.

The singer/actress made the confirmation on Thursday evening at the thanksgiving party for her Star Cinema movie "Maybe This Time," which she top billed opposite Coco Martin.

"Boyfriend ko na po si Matteo… kasi marami din ang nagsasabi na paligoy-ligoy, so ayun," Geronimo said.

The couple became close when Guidicelli was invited to perform last year in Geronimo's concert tour in the United States.

Upon their return in Manila, there were speculations that the Cebuano actor/host was already courting the Pop Princess.

Geronimo was also present in Guidicelli's birthday party last month. She was accompanied by her mother, Divine, during the celebration.

Recently, photos of the new couple circulated on Instagram thanks to celebrity couple Judy Anne Santos and Ryan Agoncillo and their other non-showbiz friends.

Last week, director Wenn Deramas posted on Facebook a text message that was supposedly sent to him by the actor.

The SMS read: "Good morning mahal".

Guidicelli, who has maintained a silence on his relationship with the singer, said the text message was wrongly sent to the director.

He clarified that it was intended for the actress.

The actor earlier said he does not want to confirm or deny anything as a way of respect not only to Sarah but also to her parents.

In the end, Matteo just said he is a "very happy man". (Sunnex)
