UNDEFEATED champions Genesis “Azukal” Servania of Bacolod and “King” Arthur Villanueva of Bago City are scheduled to fly for Dubai on August 30 for ALA Promotions’ first overseas boxing campaign – the “Pinoy Pride 27: Duel in Dubai” scheduled September 5 at the Dubai International Convention Center.

Servania of Barangay Punta Taytay (24-0, 10KOs) is the reigning World Boxing Organization (WBO) Inter-continental super bantamweight champion and WBO Asia Pacific “Fighter of the Year” while Villanueva (25-0, 14KOs) holds the WBO International super flyweight title.

The 25-year-old Villanueva said they have been in tough training at the ALA gym in Cebu for the upcoming fight. “We’ve been training hard for the fight and everything is doing well right now".

He thanked those who continue to believe in his capability and he is hoping they keep on supporting all his fights, including this one against Nicaraguan Henry “El Crespo” Maldonado (18-3, 13KOs) for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) International junior bantamweight title.

In the main event, the 23-year-old Servania will defend his title against former two-time world title challenger Jose “Matador” Cabrera (22-4, 10 KOs) of Mexico whom he described as a tough boxer.

"He (Cabrera) should not be belittled as his record tells how good he is and that is why I’m preparing well,” ‘Azukal’ said.

Also seeing action in the supporting main event is Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista (35-3, 25KOs) against Mexican Juan Jose “Piquet” Martinez (19-1, 15KOs) in a non-title bout scheduled for 10 rounds.
