DEFENDING champion University of St. La Salle-Integrated School (USLS-IS) is looking forward to a three-peat and leadership in Group B of the Under 13 division when it meets tough Don Bosco Technical Institute (DBTI) in today’s resumption of the 2014 Dynamic Football League 2nd Conference at Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City.

The Junior Stingers are coming off a 15-nil victory over Sum-ag Elementary School while the Bosconians from Victorias City blanked La Consolacion College (LCC)-Villasor, 20-nil in last Sunday's opening.

La Sallian Yuwan Nakamura has six goals while teammate Joshua John Limco added three goals. Ralph Louis Castro contributed two goals while Yuri Adolfo Akol, Miguel Luis Ditching, and John Vincent and Raymund Patrick Occeño has a goal apiece for the one-side triumph against the neophytes from Sum-ag.

Coach Reymando Baldava has no need to stand from the sidelines as John Lloyd Bentic and Godwin Zhyle Diamanted delivered eight and five goals, respectively, while Daniel Demegillo and Kai Limocon added a couple each.

John Melvin Dy Guaso, Jacob Inoferio, and John Perry Lacson hit the back of the net too to share in the scoring against the LCCians from Gardenville in Tangub.

Looking to notch their second win in Group B likewise are Bago City Elementary School and Trinity Christian School (TCS). The Bagoeños has won over Moises Padilla Elementary School and will tangle with LCC-Villasor.

Trinity has beaten Apolinario Mabini ES and will take on Moises Padilla squad.

In Group A of the U13, Cadiz West ES aims to maintain its winning streak when it faces Andres Bonifacio ES (ABES)-II after an impressive 10-1 debut over Himamaylan.

ABES came short last Sunday losing 5-6 to Bata ES-II and will try to enter the win column.

Two undefeated teams, St. Scholastica’s Academy and University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) take separate ways today too. St. Scho scored a four-nil win over SJI while UNO-R dumped Estefania ES, nine-nil.

In the U11 division, Don Bosco and USLS-IS aim to gain control early when both teams battle separate opponents today. The Bosconians, which stunned UNO-R in the opening match with a six-nil blast, will face Montevista ES. USLS-IS is looking for a back-to-back win as they battle Moises Padilla after its 6-2 triumph over Bata ES.

League benefactor Ricky Yanson said the tournament aims at providing young players the opportunity to develop their skills and creating awareness on football.

“We are inviting the people in Bacolod and Negros Occidental to come, witness and support our tournament in Panaad. Here you will find the up and coming football talents of our province,” Yanson added.
