Boysen leading Scoop non-rated trio bowling

KAMI Mga Hubin/Boysen kept the upper hand as Bago City Strikers trailed them in the ongoing 2014 Sports Communicators of the Philippines (Scoop) Non-Rated Trio Bowling Extravaganza at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

After three rounds of competition, Boysen managed by Sonny Elegado is leading in the overall tally with 2,880 points while the visiting Strikers piloted by Ric Abellar are just seven pins behind with 2,873.

Erstwhile opening day leader Active Solid Strikers Fellowship Bowlers Inc./Silverado of Ramon Cecil Silverio occupied the third spot after a measly performance in the second and third outings with 2,835.


ASSFBI pin busters anchored by Ulysses “D’ Roadrunner” Pacheco is fourth in command with 2,829 followed by LDC Aircon with 2,758.

Rounding out the 10-team pack are HTL Team with 2,714; OMJB, 2,694; 69Ner’s, 2,673; SCOOP-Bacolod, 2,632 and Grupo Retirado, 2,526.

Action will resume on Tuesday starting at 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, the one-day Scoop-Bacolod Non-rated Trio Bowling Tilt will be held today at the Lopue’s East Bowling Center in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.

Hostilities will start after the 1 p.m. registration of participating squads in the three-game series event.

Bowlers from various duckpin clubs, media outlets, newspaper dealers and newsboys in the province are expected to vie for top honors and cash prize at stake. (PR)
