BELEAGUERED Barangay 19 has to win its game today against Handumanan to take the No. 4 spot in the semifinal round of the 8th Monico Cup played at Bays Center in Bacolod City.

Game time is 3:30 p.m. and if last year's runner-up prevail over Handumanan it will give them another chance for the title.

After being knocked out by Barangay 18 in the quarterfinal, Barangay 19 stopped Maui Huelar's Barangay 35 last Sunday to get a flicker of hope.
It must win at all cost, if not Handumanan can steal the semi-final spot as it will challenge Barangay 35 tomorrow.

If Barangay 19 loses to Handumanan and village chief Huelar's wards win over Handumanan, a triple tie ensues and the team with the highest quotient will advance to the crossover semis.

A meeting among semi-finalists is set on July 16, 9 a.m., at the OYSD office at the Bays Center with tournament manager Jack Maranon and Monico Cup over-all coordinator Art Puentevella.
