SHARP teams in rated and non-rated categories have not been playing as refined as in Round 4 but still led with 3,809 and 3,702 pinfalls, respectively, in the ongoing Suppliers Challenge Cup 2014 Invitational Trio Bowling Tournament.

At the New Tops Millennium Plaza Alley at 10th Street in Bacolod City Tuesday, the Irne Diaz-managed Sharp Team 1 collected 970 (321, 325, 327) pinfalls to enjoy a 103-pin advantage against close rival ESD Solid Strikers.

With Diaz are team captain Edgar de Leon, members Raymund Lopez, Nonoy Hulguin, and Fred Empio.

Persistent to grab the lead are Solid Strikers headed by Edgar del Rosario with 982 points (317, 323, 342), ESD Electronz led by Pat Mendoza with 3,704 points (1,002 - 319, 314, 369), and Mulo Aircon handled by Romulo Ramos with 3,680 points (1,010 - 367, 323, 342).

In the non-rated division, the Fil Magbojos-managed Sharp registered a total of 1,004 pinfalls (321, 325, 358) for the lead. Team captain Diaz spearheaded the romp with Carlo Boyero, Boy Wingpo, and Remo Jareño hitting their stride.
