ALA Promotions International, Asia’s premier boxing promotion, got the nod to promote in the United States after they were officially granted a license by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC).

President/CEO Michael Aldeguer said that after working for the license since November 2011, they are now ready to invade the US, particularly California.

ALA's young executive further said that the recent event is an important milestone for Philippine boxing as the Cebu-based outfit became the first promoter from Asia to get the license.

“We would like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude for your constant support to the group, Philippine boxing, and the sport of boxing as a whole, as we would not have reached this far without you,” said a statement from ALA.

Aldeguer is still out of the country as of press time. (HGD)
