Ceres clips Agila’s wings in UFL Div 2

BACOLOD’S Ceres-La Salle FC continued its winning streak taking a 5-nil victory against Agila FC over the weekend further fortifying its top position in Division 2 of the United Football League.

Korean reinforcement Jin Ho Kim booted home three goals in the first half for the club's a 3-nil lead outsmarting his defenders in the 15th, 20th and 45’ (+1) minutes.

Fellow South Korean Kyum Son Cho added another in the 69th minute while Arnie Pasinabo sealed the match in the 75th minute.


Ceres improved its record to 12-3-1 win-draw-loss card after 16 matches good for 39 points. Manila Jeepney FC trailed with 12-1-4 in 17 outings for 37 points.

Laos FC, which dealt Ceres its lone defeat and scoreless draw, is in third spot with 10-3-4 in 17 games for 33 points. (HGD)
