Turkmenistan arrives in Bacolod

INTERNATIONAL Turkmen-Turkish University Football Club (Ashgabat), also known as the HTTU, arrived Friday night at the Bacolod-Silay Airport for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President’s Cup Group B Qualifier on May 6 to 10 at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.

The HTTU will defend the title it won last year in Balkan after defeating KRL of Pakistan 1-0 in the finals.

The visiting team’s line-up include Rahmanberdi Alyhanow, Hemaýat Kömekow, Söhrat Söyünow, Akmyrat Jumanazarow, Azat Samyradow, Döwran Allanazarow, Nursahet Sapargylyjow, Süleyman Muhadow, Hemra Amanmämmedow, Serdar Annaorazow, Annasähet Annasähedow; Okan Ersoy, Begenç Saidmämmedow, Gurbanmyrat Garayew, Gurbangeldi Batyrow, Furkat Tursunow, Ahmet Atayew, Pirmyrat Sultanow, Merdan Gurbanow, Muhammed Astanow, Dawid Sarkisow, Kiçigul Kiçigulow and Nurgylyç Diwanow.


Heading the squad is Röwsen Meredow together with Begenç Garaýew, Hemadan Hojaýew, Orazguly Gurbanow and Wepa Mämmedow.

Arriving today is Malaysian Brian See Mei Chiat, AFC manager of National Team Competitions, and other AFC officials.

Also arriving on the same date are match commissioner Ali D. A. Jebril Ghalia from Palestine; referees Win Cho (Myanmar) and Mukhtar Saleh Ali Al-Yarimi (Yemen); assistant referees Wang De Xin (China PR), Aung Moe (Myanmar), Al-Hasani Ali Mohammed Ahmed (Yemen) and Md Manir Ahmmad Dhali (Bangladesh).

Referee Yousef Almarzouq from Kuwait also arrived yesterday along with Philippine Football Federation oversight team of Maja Paula Año, Francesca Burgos and Ariel Serrantes.
