Hanah-AMTC jins dominate Panaad taekwondo tourney

MULTI-TITLED Hanah–Asenso Murcianon Taekwondo Club (ATMC) bagged e 13 gold, eight silver and seven bronze medals in the 2014 Panaad Taekwondo Tournament held at the Panaad Park and Stadium.

Gold medalists in Grade School Boys Advance are Gabrielle Nualda, Group 1 and Marcus Ernesto Hinojas, Group 3; Grade School Girls Advance – Angeline Alcantara, Group 2; Grade School Girls Novice – Gwenet Cuaycong, Group 2; Junior Men Advance – Deb Matthew "Jack" Daclan (welterweight) and Jan Mickael Casaña (featherweight); and Junior Men Novice – Levi Michael Deriada (lightweight), Paul Jimenea (finweight), Cornelio Buyco (flyweight), Rodney Posecion (lightweight) and Reyco Asin (welterweight); and Junior Women Advance – Caroline Dean Espinosa (lightweight).

The silver medalists are: Grade School Boys Advance – Lester Paolo Escasinas, Group 4 Grade School; Boys Novice – John Mark Arellano, Group 2; Paul Sioco, Group 3; Luigi Escasinas, Group 1; and Lemarj Nualda, Group 3; Grade School Girls Advance – Allysa Trisha Hanaya, Group 3; Junior Men Advance – Keith Smart Docado; Junior Men Novice – Ezekiel Lojares (welterweight); and Junior Women Novice – Julieann Minel (featherweight); and Marichelle Fabria (lightweight).


Bronze medalists are Nel Trisha Serimogan, Group 1; Junior Men Advance – Joefer Vincent Cabrera (flyweight); Jose Morales (featherweight); Eljessa Colorado (flyweight); and Grade School Advance – Christian Dean Espinosa, Group 4.

The Murcia-based jins domination in the Junior Men Advance was led by 2013 Smart National best player Daclan and 2013 Chicago Taekwondo Open gold medalist Casaña.

Daclan whipped opponents from Cadiz City and Valladolid while Casaña outclassed opponents from Sagay City and Valladolid town.

In the Grade School Boys Advance, the team was led by 2013 Chicago Taekwondo Open triple gold medalist and 2012 Smart National best player Hinojas, who overwhelmed opponents from Cadiz City, Bcolod City and Pontevedra.

Teammate Nualda, the 2013 Provincial Meet silver medalist, ruled over opponents from Ilog and Talisay City.

The Murcia-based Hanah-AMTC jins, mentored by 2012 and 2013 Smart National best coach awardee Vic Feria, are being supported by Mayor Andrew Montelibano. (HGD)
