Scoopers join NOHS Trio Bowlfest

BROADCAST and print media practitioners are seeing action in the Negros Occidental High School Class '96 Trio Bowlfest on Thursday.

Sports Communicators of the Philippines-Bacolod Inc. members Buddy Ferrer (RPN/DYKB), Henceboy Cestina (DYRL), Renato "Boy" Duran (DYEZ), Boy Ciocon (Radio Veritas) and Henry Doble (Sun.Star Bacolod/Kapawa News) will carry the colors of I-Mart/Chris Sports of Deonyson Dy and try to compete with 20 other teams and qualify for the next round.

Set to reel off tomorrow at 6:30 p.m., the bowlfest is spearheaded by Lane Thunder Duckpinners of NOHS Batch '96 with tournament coordinator Henry James Toga and event chair and Alumni president Serafin Plotria Jr. at the helm.

Guaranteed prizes at stake is close to P20,000 subject to increase depending on number of teams which are required an entry fee of P1,500 excluding alley fees at Negros Super Lanes at Goldenfield Commercial Complex.

Games are scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays only with each team required a maximum of three games in 10 playing dates of the elimination round. (HGD)
