Division 2 leader Ceres-La Salle FC sank Philippine Navy FC, 10-3 on Saturday in the resumption of the second round of  United Football League at the Emperador Stadium in Taguig City.

In high spirits with the infusion of its five  recent acquisitions, the Bacolod-based club and Negros Occidental's pride came out with a strong start with Ho Kim Jim scoring the first goal in the fifth minute and Jayson Panhay following up in the 10th minute.

Marwin Angeles and Patrick Reichelt made it look easy shaking the net in the 12th  and 13th  minutes for a four-goal advantage in the early minutes of play. The Frogmen were in trouble again as the Transporters hacked out a 4-0 triumph in their first round encounter.

Mohamed Diallo finally broke Ceres’ high speed-running and scoring as he sneaked one eluding the defense  in the 25th minute to momentarily cut the lead. Jin was not through yet as he flicked his second goal in the 27th minute to maintain the four-goal lead.
Not giving up easily,  Zana Abonlaye Traore shot Navy’s second goal in the 41st.  Samson Olaniyi , however, scored a penalty kick in the 45(+2) minutes giving Ceres the half, 6-2.
Jimmy Dimzon fired a 47th minute goal to cut the lead anew at 6-3. Ceres could  have  concentrated  on  the  defense and still won, but  Kyum Son Cho (61’), Olaniyi (68’),  Panhay (70’) and Jalsor Soriano (74’) wanted to send a message that more are coming.
