CERES-La Salle Football Club continued to build a stronger team in preparation for the second tier of the United Football League before the second round begins this week.

The Second Division leader added additional power in striker Arnie Pasinabo Jr., Azkals’ defender Jason Sabio and midfielders Fil-Italian twins Marvin and Marwin Angeles.

Head coach Ali Bernard Go confirmed that the team is beefing up not only for the UFL tournament but also for the upcoming AFC President’s Cup in May.

The 28-year-old Pasinabo, who hails from San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, used to play upfront for the Green Archers United FC in the UFL’s Division 1 before sliding to the lower division during the transfer window.

Sabio is a long-time member of the national team who plays center or right back. He played for Kaya FC in 2011-2012 Season before leaving for the United States to finish his law studies.

The Angeles twins were just released by the Global FC and are eyeing to help Ceres-La Salle's campaign in Division 1.

Earlier, Azkals Fil-Spanish defender Carli de Murga also joined the Ceres-La Salle FC after the signing of Fil-German midfielder Patrick Reichelt.

De Murga also suited for the UFL’s 1st Division’s Global FC of Azkals’ team manager Dan Palami. He will be a huge addition like midfielder Reichelt who signed up a two-year contract with the Bacolod club.

Assisting Go are assistant coach Ramon Janeo and technical director Korean Cha Soung Yooung. Team manager is Leo Rey Yanson. (HGD)
