Zerrudo is AFC U14 medical officer

Dr.  Emily Merzo-Zerrudo of Bago City will be flying to Sri Lanka on March 18  to serve as medical officer for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-14 Girls Regional Championship for South and Central Asia on  March 20 to 25 in Colombo.
Zerrudo will take the Manila-Kuala Lumpur-Colombo flight for her third AFC duty abroad since she started working as AFC medical officer in 2012. Her first two were all in China last year.

She has served many times as medical officer in several international tournaments and friendlies in the Philippines including the 2nd Philippine Peace Cup held in Bacolod last year.
Competitors in this week-long tournament are Bhutan, India, Iran, Nepal, Tajikistan, and host-Sri Lanka.
Each match shall last 70 minutes, comprising two periods of 35 minutes with an interval of 15 minutes from the whistle ending the first period. (HGD)
