MONDAY Bowlers’ Club of Bacolod (MBCB) business manager Boy Garingalao was declared bowler of the month for January after securing 46 points during the 1st MBCB "Barkadahan" Bowling Cup 2014 at Lopue's East Bowling Center last Monday.

Garingalao received P500 and an MBCB T-shirt.

He thanked fellow bowlers and new comers who took time to play duckpin bowling every Monday night.

"We have gathered more than 40 regular and aspiring bowlers this month but we are still hoping that with this activity we could reach out to more players," MBCB president Melot Alimon said.

Rounding up the top five duckpin bowlers are Mulo Ramos (36 pts), Alimon (28 pts), Lito Masculino (25 pts), and Rod Gumban (24 pts).

Tournament rules allow every participant to play one game and the highest pinfall acquired will have 10 points, while the rest will get eight, six, and four points, respectively. The unranked finishers will only get two points.

Alimon is inviting all non-rated male and female bowlers to join the game every Monday at 6:30 p.m.
