LHCA faces SJI-B as NBTC elims end today

LIVING Heritage Christian Academy tries to regain its bearing after last week's beating from defending SeaOil-NBTC Bacolod champs West Negros University, 71-83 when it faces St. John’s Institute Team B at 11 a.m. today at WNU gym.

That win gave the Junior Mustangs the top spot in Bracket A and it will meet University of St. La Salle-Integrated School in the crossover semifinal on January 25. The Junior Stingers finished second behind the Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts with 4-1 record.

LHCA, win or loss against SJI-B, will face number Tay Tung in Bracket B in the other semi-final bout. BTTHS was 5-0.


Other no bearing games today pit Bacolod Christian College of Negros and Trinity Christian School at 8 a.m. followed by St. Benilde School and Mansilingan Christian Academy at 9:30 a.m.

The SeaOil -sponsored tournament has set its championship on February 1 and the All-Star Game on February 2.

The champion will advance to the National Finals at Ultra on March 6 to 9.
