Ceres-La Salle drowns Navy, 4-0 in UFL win

BACOLOD City-based Ceres-La Salle Football Club started with an impressive win in the United Football League 2nd Division over the weekend with a 4-nil triumph over Philippine Navy at the Emperador Stadium in Taguig City.

The Transporters warmed up slowly in the early minutes of the first half until Korean midfielder Hwa Seo Park found the back of the net in the 43rd minute for a 1-nil lead at the break.

The Ali Go-mentored Ceres FC changed gear and sped up a bit on their offense as another Korean midfielder Jin Ho Kim went scot free in the 49th minute. Fil-Am Joshua Beloya followed up in the 53rd minute as Korean midfielder Kyum Son Cho capped the win in the 72nd minute.


Starting for the 2013 PFF-Smart Club Championship titlist are goalkeeper Michael Casas, Beloya, Kim, Samson Olaniyi, Jayson Panhay, Guen Hyeong Park, Hwa Seo Park, Jalsor Soriano, Camelo Tacusalme, Lemuel Unabia and Yong Chan Son.

Also suiting up for the Leo Rey Yanson-managed club are J Baguioro, Kevin Rob Hartmann, Younousse Yaogo, Angelo Marasigan, Thomas Louis Booth, Hyeok Gyu Goo, Oladipo Okunaiya, William Espinosa, Jae Jin Lee, Jason Cordova, Tristan Kit Robles, Hanesin Prince Antony, Kyum Son Cho and Jae Hun Hyoun.
